Submission Checklist
- During the submission procedure, authors must ensure that their manuscript adheres to the specified requirements. Submissions not following these rules may be returned to the authors.
- Before submitting your manuscript, ensure that it follows the formatting guidelines indicated in the available author guidelines at https://jwepak.com/author_guidelines/
- Originality: The submitted work has not been previously published, and it is not currently being submitted to another journal. Furthermore, this paper does not replicate the material or details of any earlier publications published by the author(s) or currently being considered elsewhere.
- Conflict of Interests: The Journal of Wildlife and Ecology’s policy requires the author or co-authors to disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that may have an impact on the study’s results or interpretation. One author, acting as the authorized agent of all co-authors, may accept this declaration on their behalf. By checking this box, the author confirms that they and their co-authors do not have any conflicts of interest.
- Confirmation of Author(s): By checking this box, the author(s) confirm that they are the sole owner of the materials in the manuscript, that it does not violate any existing copyright, has not been previously published, and, to the best of their knowledge, contains no unlawful content. The author(s) also agree to insure the publisher against any claims, demands, or legal actions resulting from copyright violations or including illegal content in the text. If previously copyrighted content is incorporated, the author(s) hereby verify that they have secured unrestricted permission from the original copyright holder to utilize it.
- Potential Reviewers: Please send the names and emails of at least two experts (with affiliated departments, institutes, or universities) who might be communicated as potential reviewers of the manuscript and cover letter.
- Privacy Statement: The names and email addresses given on this journal site will be used only for the purposes explicitly outlined by the journal. They will not be shared or made available for any other purpose or to any third party.
- Plagiarism Policy: Plagiarism is defined as the unethical practice of replicating someone else’s prior ideas, methods, results, or words without appropriate acknowledgement of the original author and source. The Journal of Wildlife and Ecology strongly rejects any forms of unethical copying and plagiarism. Plagiarism occurs when significant portions of a paper are copied from previously available sources. All manuscripts submitted to JWE are thoroughly checked for plagiarism using Turnitin software. JWE openly requests and examines plagiarism reports from authors when they submit articles. Papers that are found to have been plagiarised during the initial review phases are immediately rejected and will not be considered for publication in the journal. JWE uses Turnitin to ensure plagiarism.
